Farmer Mary was invited to Pleasant Union Elementary School today to help children learn about eggs and farms.
Farmer Mary set up in a classroom where students rotated in for a discussion of eggs..types, differences, sizes, shapes, colors, uses and more.
Then, the baby duckling, chicks and Crested Polish hen were introduced. One little black chick peeped incredibly loud and wagged its tail every time it peeped over and over.

Rain rain rain…at Winterpast Farm CHESTER and DORIS, the geese, and all the ducks and piglets are enjoying the rain. CHARLIE the farm dog is so wet and muddy that Farmer Mary won’t let him inside. For now.
Farmer Mary and her daughter, Elizabeth, helped celebrate a 4th Birthday today. The rain kept the animal part of the festivities in the garage but alot of fun was had. SEBASTIAN the baby goat did great at his second Birthday party appearance and the bunnies, chicks and ducklings got lots of loving.
Note: parties are just as fun indoors, on patios, in garages, in front yards, on screen porches…..This Bunny Birthday yesterday took place on lovely green green grass with perfect weather.
