Residents and staff at Falls River Village and Court, an assisted living Senior community in Raleigh, enjoyed a visit by Farmer Mary and some of her sweet animals this morning.BETSY the baby goat, PRINCESS FLUFFY FACE the newly donated Lionhead baby bunny, five sibling bunnies, some Silkie breed chickens and PUMPKIN and PIE, the guinea pig Mother/daughter duo, all enjoyed laps, carrots and lots of love this morning.

Farmer Mary and daughter, Elizabeth, took BETSY the baby goat, HOWARD the hedgehog, BLUE MOON and STORMY (The Angora bunny brothers), HONEY BUNNY and her seven darling babies along with guinea pigs FUDGE BROWNIE, COOKIE, PUMPKIN and her daughter PIE and some sweet Silkie chickens to a lakeside event in Cary this afternoon. And the rain held off!

A local Moms group enjoyed meeting at Winterpast Farm petting zoo this morning for a fun day of meeting, feeding and holding animals. Swinging on swings, meeting an emu, petting the mini horse, having a picnic under the big shade trees…a nice way to spend a morning and VERY tired children who probably all fell asleep on the way home!
