DAISY THE PIG

If you ask Farmer Mary will usually let you out in the pasture to pet a pig. This is DAISY the “micro mini” “teacup” pig whose original owners were told would only get to 35 pounds.

Farmer Mary is offered a pet pig who “grew bigger than the breeder said” EVERY week of EVERY year. Do not buy a pig and expect it to stay small!!!DAISY is actually white with black spots in the winter; during the summer she is North Carolina red clay colored since she loves her mud puddle on hot days.

Beautiful weather today here in Wake Forest Nc with lots of new and regular farm visitors. We found two nests with baby chicks hatching!

We have plenty of deep shade at Winterpast Farm. Shady picnic tables too!

If you would like to meet the wide variety of animals at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo, PLEASE read the entire “your visit” at www.winterpast.org which very fully explains parking, our admission price, and lists a wide variety of food you can bring for feeding the animals.
