Farmer Mary is hoping for NO SNOW and no freezing cold later this week! Moving all the smaller animals to the heated half of the garage at Winterpast Farm is NO fun. Fingers, tails, hooves and beaks are all crossed for continued nice weather here in North Carolina!
Donations of blankets, towels, pillowcases, hay bales, fleece blankets, tarps, plastic sheeting all happily accepted as is help winterizing. Staple gunning layers of thick plastic ( then covered by burlap coffee bean bags for a bit of rustic charm and more warmth) to bunny pens is a big priority right now. We have alot of bunny pens!
If you would like to meet all the animals at Winter past Farm Farm Petting Zoo, PLEASE read the entire “your visit” section at www.winterpast.org which very fully explains parking, our admission price, and lists a wide variety of food you can bring for feeding the animals.
Tours of the huge green emu egg nest in the far back pasture at exactly: 11:00, 2:00, 4:00 on days we are open 10-5. Tours at 1:00 and 4:00 Sundays. Be on time!!!
