This morning it looked like MABEL the mini donkey was giving all the goats some instruction at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Farmer Mary really wishes she spoke donkey!
The animals have hay and warm water and feed delivered to them throughout these cold days. Huge round bales of hay are scheduled to be delivered to Winterpast Farm sometime this coming weekend. Farmer Mary is hoping the hay will get the larger animals through until some grass starts growing in the back pasture.
