Farmer Mary took some of her animals to visit residents at a medical rehabilitation center in Raleigh today. Everyone loved spending some time outdoors petting the velvety soft Rex and fluffy Lionhead bunnies, meeting BEAU the baby goat, watching ducks bathe, and holding baby chicks. Even the visually impaired enjoyed Farmer Mary’s complete descriptions of each animal they were touching like this young Ancona duck.
One man said it would make him try even harder to get back on his feet after surgery so he can come in person to visit and see all these animals again as well as the other animals living at Winterpast Farm🙂.
🐖Winterpast Farm will be open next for visits on Wednesday from 10-2. Looks like no rain after all!
