HOW TO CUT TO FEED THE ANIMALS
How to cut an apple by Farmer Mary at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Long and skinny is always best. Alot of the donated cages have very small openings so it’s nice to have food that fits when feeding guinea pigs and bunnies. For apples the animals prefer all the pink and yellow kinds over Granny Smith or Red Delicious. We have knives here. But, if you cut at home it speeds things up here and you can get right to feeding the animals!
Be sure and tell YOUR childs school about Fun Farm Field Trips at Winterpast Farm! Farmer Mary closes the farm for just your group so it’s very very safe. Homeschool groups welcome!
