🦚Did you know that the male peaocks molt their fancy long tail feathers each year? The males use their tails to show off and flirt with the females during the brief spring time season of peacock love❤️.
🦚In late summer their feathers begin to slowly fall off. At Winterpast Farm the beautiful long tail feathers are collected and sold to help Farmer Mary continue to care for and to feed all the peacocks and other animals living at Winterpast Farm.
🐐Farmer Mary hopes to have the farm open Friday for visits starting at 10. Rain may close the farm early.
