Farmer Mary has been invited to bring some animals from Winterpast Farm to Gap Streets at Southpoint mall in Durham. On this coming Thursday, ,March 15th they are launching a special clothing line for children by Diane Von Furstenburg.
Come visit Juliet the lamb (maybe she’ll be wearing VonFurstenburg over her pet diaper!) and the baby ducks, chicks and bunnies that day at Southpoint Mall.
Farmer Mary is hoping this will lead to more events at the mall or with Gap…
Meanwhile, the fiber sheep are leaving for another farm today. Justin Beiber, the young peacock, is getting a bride (a young peahen from another farm-her “husband” ‘was run over lately so she is looking for a new mate-Valentine the sheep’s leg is better, the emu seem to have lost interest in laying their big green eggs, the baby lamb is growing fast and drinking her bottle as well as eating some hay, the Chinese geese are gone (they ate all Farmer Mary’s lawn) and baby chicks are hatching…come hold one soon!!

Learn MoreFarmer Mary’s daughter, Elizabeth, loves to feed Juliet her bottle. She lets her sleep in her room at night now and Juliet is sleeping through the night most of the time. Come feed her yourself soon! She’s starting to chew a little alfalfa hay and will be eating goat food in a week or two. She has a new coat she likes to wear.
