Farmer Mary is very happy the hurricaine related rain has held off…today a brother and sister celebrated their birthdays at Winterpast Farm with lots of friends.
We played the donut game (poor Charlie the dog didn’t sneak a donut this time!)
We had a challenging pinata, with lots of great candy!
Then, great sandwiches, fruit, halloween colored chips and cupcakes.
And, guess who was waiting patiently for leftovers? Petunia the pig, of course.
Turning four has never been such fun…
Holding the fuzzy baby bunnies
The donut game…especially when Farmer Mary’s dog, Charlie, decided to play!!
Enjoyed time with friends and family.
..and fed leftover pig cupcakes to guess who? PETUNIA the pig!

Farmer Mary was invited to meet with homeschoolers at Hope Lutheran Church this morning to talk about farm animals.
She took along the fluffy baby bunnies. Midnight, the solid black one, was the most popular.
Quite a few of the children had visited Winterpast Farm and were helpful in teaching the other children how to hold bunnies, quail and ducks.
The five week old quail settled into laps very nicely, as did the new Call Ducks who look like miniature Mallards.
Farmer Mary is available to bring a variety of animals to your home, preschool, church, scout group, public or privatemschool…email her with your request. Marymomfarmer@hotmail.com
Learn MoreFarmer Mary’s chickens are laying lots of beautiful eggs.
Here is a beautiful nest she found today. Different chickens lay their eggs in the same nest, then whichever chicken lays the 21st egg sets down and broods. 21 days later she hatches some of the eggs.
