Farmer Mary is planning her annual Christmas Tree Bonfire/Potluck. These days she has four teens to consult before she sets a date…date will be announced here soon.
All friends of the farm (and that’s you if you’re reading this!) are invited. Bring a tree or a neighbors tree…load up a truck with lots of trees and drop them off early. Drop off by the barn any time, or call or text (voicemail is iffy) Farmer Mary if you have a big load. We never have too many!!
Usually a Saturday evening. Guests bring a LARGE dish to share and their own drinks including kid drinks.
Bonfire is in the back pasture.
Parking assistance will be provided.
Starts early and goes on and on, but this is NOT a “farm tour” so animals will not be available to hold or pet or feed unless you want to feed large animals through the fence up by the barn.
Extra dogs, no matter how good/sweet/friendly ARE NOT INVITED to this event.
Glow necklaces are a good idea on small children, flashlights too.
Bring an outdoor chair…Farmer Mary has quite a few, but suggests you bring more.
Extra wood, pallets etc. are always welcome.

In the first photo, the four crabs are the shells on the edge of the gray salt water bath.
$25 for a week of fun…try it for events, during track out, as a home school science project, as a reward for good behavior, as a possible pet trial…
Contact Farmer Mary about her animal rentals soon. Please spread the word so fewer animals are purchased and later neglected.
Crabs tend to be nocturnal so are mostly active at night. They get into a salt bath, eat, drink water, chase each other around (slowly)…electric light needs to be on during the day hours.
