Farmer Mary is often asked to take unwanted bunnies. She usually is able to do this, but is trying to keep people from buying bunnies as pets, Instead, she suggests renting a bunny for a week. Occasionally this leads to adoption, but usually a week is enough! Rentals can be to private homes or classrooms. Gift your child’s classroom with a bunny for a week!
She also rents hermit crabs and a darling guinea pig named Henry. The animals come with all supplies and food for a week.
RECYCLE SMALL ANIMALS!!
Farmer Mary always needs more cages for her bunny rentals. If you have an unwanted cage, please arrange to bring it to the farm and you will get two free admissions!!
Thank you!

Learn MoreThe neighborhood park of Bedford was the sight of a great Bunny Birthday today with children enjoying holding all ages of bunnies and tiny baby chicks from Winterpast Farm.
Learn MoreFarmer Mary and daughter ELizabeth took animals to NOFO at the Pig at Five Points in Raleigh this morning. NOFO had their annual Easter Bunny brunch and afterwards families enjoyed meeting a wide variety of animals including JACK the lamb, Henry guinea pig, three day old chicks and ducklings, GRACIE the bunny and her four babies MILK CHOCOLATE, CARAMEL, FUDGE, and DARK CHOCOLATE.
Neighbors out walking dogs and visiting The Third Place also stopped to pet Jack or hold a bunny. It sprinkled a bit and we rushed to move the animals under tents, but the rain soon ended.
Farmer Mary is happy to bring a medly of her friendly farm animals to your home, business, local park, church, preschool, birthday celebration etc.
Farmer Mary is very busy taking her animals to home birthdays, neighborhood events and more in Saturday so the farm will be closed to visitors. Come Sunday after 12:30 and meet the new baby ducklings and chicks and tiny baby bunnies!
