Gorman Christian Academy called Farmer Mary to ask if they could rent a pig to kiss. Farmer Mary explained that her pigs were too big to transport and suggested a variety of other fun animals. The middle schoolers were raising money by selling tickets to make certain faculty and students kiss an animal at a big event Friday night.
Farmer Mary took TURKEY LURKY and JESSE the baby goat along with some bunnies and guinea pigs.
After a dodgeball game and other fun, it was time for the announcements of who had been selected to kiss the goat. Lots of parents paid for their children or a teacher to participate.
One young man who’s mother had paid $20 for him to kiss the goat had to kiss JESSE twice since his mom was out of the gymnasium when he took his turn.
Kissing RUBY the bunny was $5 and even TURKEY LURKEY got a few kisses. The animals all did very well. Farmer Mary wonders what JESSE the baby goat told his mother and twin brother when he got home to Winterpast Farm Friday night!
