Get outside with family and friends during the Christmas break and make some memories and take some truly unique photos!
Learn MoreYears ago Farmer Mary lived in Five Points and she used to look forward each year to walking with her son, Ben, to see the wonderfully realistic Living Nativity at Hayes Barton Baptist Church at Christmas time.
This year the donkeys, sheep and maybe some goats of Winterpast Farm have been invited to participate!
The Living Nativity will take place onSunday December 22, Monday December 23 and Tuesday December 24 from 7-11pm. Come see donkeys MABEL and CLAIRE ( who we hope will be willing to load into a borrowed horse trailer!), lambs DANIEL and BA BA and maybe goat twins JESSE and JAMES at this wonderful seasonal event!
Learn MoreFarmer Mary’s son, Ben, brought his great camera out to the farm recently for some fun holiday pix.
Here’s TURKEY LURKEY our baby turkey all dressed up!
New really big (but sweet) bunny GILBERT, was not so happy about dressing up…
Meanwhile, SEBASTIAN, our Dad goat greatly enjoyed showing off his holiday style!
More great pics to come…including BIG WANDA the Great Dane with a full santa beard…bunnies, sheep and CHARLIE the farm dog of course!
Farmer Mary and daughter Elizabeth took some Winterpast farm animals to the annual Live Nativity at St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Raleigh this past Sunday evening. The drive-thru Nativity was seen by hundreds of cars full of people.
Baby twin goats, JESSE and JAMES, and baby lamb BA BA hung out with the shepherds watching over their flock.
Baby lamb, DANIEL, was near the manger scene.
Towards the end of the evening Farmer Mary volunteered to be a townsperson and Elizabeth had a chance to be an angel for a half hour!
Farmer Mary is happy to work with churches to bring some of her animals to Live Nativities, at Easter, to AWANA and other childrens ministries and in any other way.
Enjoy the sunshine and get outdoors at Winterpast farm.
