POLKA DOT bunny, and husband, SIMON bunny announce the arrival of lots of sweet tiny baby bunnies!!
For a few days they can fit, a few at a time, in Farmer Mary’s overall pockets!
Here’s POLKA DOT, Mama bunny.
Come visit and hold the babies soon and bring Mama bunny a treat..apple slices, carrots, kale…bunnies!
Look at their size compared to a chicken egg.
Here is another pic of the newborns in the hands of a friend of the farm who dropped by to buy eggs the day the babies were born. You never know what extra fun you might have when you buy eggs here…would you ever get to hold newborn bunnies at the grocery store?
New pics at a week old..lots more fur.
This morning Farmer Mary went outside and found that MIDNIGHT the goat had a new baby boy. He was all cleaned up and had nursed…what a good mom! She must have had a quiet labor since the nursery monitor never made noise.
Farm friends, of the poultry variety, gathered to meet and greet our newest baby.
Come meet our new baby and, if you like, bring his mom a special treat! She loves any fruits or veggies.
The new baby is named BILLY for Farmer Mary’s friend BILLY who had a birthday yesterday. Maybe MIDNIGHT will get a tiny slice of the leftover birthday cake to celebrate the birth of her little BILLY!
Here is BILLYs first visitor enjoying a snuggle. YOU are invited to come love little BILLY soon!
This is Farmer Mary’s friend Billy holding two day old little BILLY.
Farmer Mary shows you just how much egg is inside an emu egg!
Today she was taking some visitors around the back pasture and forest and they saw EMILY with a new nest with just one egg. Look closely under her neck for the green color of the partially hidden egg.
OSCAR the emu lay down and let visitors examine his funny little “wings” and feel his feathers, neck and legs.
Over 60 people gathered in the back pasture of Winterpast Farm Saturday night for the annual Bonfire/Potluck.
Hotdogs, marshmallows, Farmer Mary’s famous meatballs…a good time was had by all. More bonfires will be planned for the Spring and summer. Farmer Mary also rents out the pasture for private bonfires and camping.
Farmer Mary and some of her sweet animals helped celebrate a little girl’s third Birthday on Saturday afternoon. Despite the chilly day, the guests enjoyed time outdoors with the bunnies, guinea pigs and BA BA the lamb.
Farmer Mary would be happy to talk about bringing her sweet animals to your next event!
