All Mothers visit Winterpast Farm free this Sunday. Farm will be open 1-7.
Learn MoreFarmer Mary and some of her animals (BA BA the sheep and DOT and RALPH the baby goats) will be on WNCN (NBC-17 Raleigh) tomorow morning at 11:30. The show is MY CAROLINA TODAY.
The animals are visuals for a story about World Vision which is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.
Hope to have a few more pictures to post tomorrow after the big event!

Children attending Saint John’s Preschool in Wake Forest voted recently to choose either a guinea pig or bunny as a temporary classroom pet. Books from the library have been studied as the children prepared for the big responsibility of having a classroom pet.
Today was the day Farmer Mary delivered five cages with 2 guinea pigs (PEACHES and PEANUT BUTTER) and 3 bunnies (MARSHMALLOW, KOKO and one of HONEY BUNNY’s babies named BLACK VELVET).
Classes voted today which bunny or guinea pig would be their classroom pet. Some children were a bit surprised that a guinea pig was not exactly the type pig they expected.
$35 per cage, food and all supplies are included to make a week of animal interaction a success.
Contact Farmer Mary about a family or classroom pet rental. You don’t have to own it to love it! Thank you for helping recycle existing pets. And, for supporting a small local farm family.
