Farmer Mary makes all the dishes her family eats off and occasionally she makes little llamas, chickens, bunnies and other animal shapes to sell at the farm. Pottery work is done at the NCSU craft center. The ornaments are $5 each.
Larger chickens are also available for $35. They are on display at the farm. Large pottery llamas, bunnies and pigs are planned.
Little llamas will be sold in memory of LUCKY the Winterpast Llama (who died last week) and the profits used to buy a new llama.
Learn MoreFarmer Mary took LILY and ROSE, the baby twin goats, BOB the Silkie rooster, and a variety of sweet bunnies and guinea pigs to help celebrate a Birthday in Raleigh today. And the rain held off!!
Farm or home Birthdays are more fun with animals, no matter what age!
