A church group visited Winterpast Farm recently and took photos and video for a children’s production. Their young reporter for The Bethlehem News visited Winterpast Farm for an exclusive Nativity story.
BA BA the black sheep was featured and FRANCES the young goat jumped in the manger with baby Jesus! LIZZIE LOU, the very pregnant goat, and PETUNIA, the very large pink pig, tried to sneak into each video. Much fun was had by all involved!
Farmer Mary and daughter, Elizabeth, took some sweet animals to an annual Fall Festival at Celebration Church in Raleigh on Halloween evening.
Farmer Mary and great volunteers, Evan and Nate, donated their time on Halloween afternoon to help entertain guests of all ages at the annual gathering of Avery’s Angels Gastroschisis Foundation local families. BETSY the goat and a variety of bunnies, ducks, guinea pigs and chickens enjoyed meeting the families of children who have experience with Gastroschsis in common.

Farmer Mary took some of her animals early Saturday morning to support teen farm volunteer, Alison, at a early morning run in support of research into curing Friedreichs Ataxia.
Runners and their families enjoyed meeting and feeding BELLA the goat, SNICKERS and PANCAKE the bunnies and other animals.
