FRANCES the goat turned one this Tuesday. Pictured here with Farmer Mary’s daughter at one day old at Winterpast Farm last January. 
FRANCES is due to give birth any time. Her udder suddenly developed and is very full.
She is due to give birth any time. It’s normal for goats to birth around their first birthday. Today Farmer Mary moved her to a maternity pen. She has a heat lamp, lots of extra food and water, several homes to choose from and privacy for birthing. Farmer Mary also has a stash of clean towels and other birthing supplies on site.
Come visit and bring her a treat! Farm open this Saturday 10-5 and this Sunday 1-5. Farmer Mary is guessing twins by late Sunday..come make YOUR best guess of number and date!

Annual Winterpast Farm Bonfire/Potluck will be Saturday Feb 6 starting around dark. Bring a large dish to share, chairs and a flashlight to find the bathroom. Glow bracelets are a good idea on small children. Petting zoo will be closed and parents are expected to keep small children with them at all times in the back pasture. Parking will be in the pasture (please park close together) along with the farm parking lot by the barn.
