Farmer Mary and the twin lambs had a fun time at an elementary school’s annual Winter Carnival which included a “Kiss the Mystery Animal” event. Farmer Mary has been taking a different animal for years to this event and the children get very excited when she shows up with a well shrouded cage.
Mama sheep, ALBERTA, was VERY glad when the twins got back to the farm tonight! Farmer Mary wonders what they will tell her about their exciting trip to a school. Big news: the announcer at the school tonight asked for the lambs names so Farmer Mary had to finally decide. The speckled boy is ZIGGY and the mostly black girl is STARDUST.
Farmer Mary is happy to bring animals to schools. Just ask. Texting is always best.

A local school is enjoying a temporary classroom pet rented from Winterpast Farm this week. DUTCHESS, a Dutch breed bunny, is having a great time and getting rave reviews. Why don’t you ask your child’s teacher if a temporary classroom pet would be a good idea? Week long rental is only $35 including food and all supplies needed for a fun and educational animal adventure. Some parents rent a bunny and take it to class for a day and take photos of each child with the bunny then help with making picture frames for a truly unique and memorable Mothers Day or Easter project.
