MAX is one of the little dogs at Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC. He loves farm visitors and is often in a loving lap while he waits for Farmer Mary’s daughter, Elizabeth, to get home from school. Here MAX was hanging out with the three day old baby guinea pig triplets who were enjoying some brushing by farm visitors. Come meet the triplets soon and help Farmer Mary come up with names for the new babies.
This beautiful bunny was donated to Winterpast Farm today. Her name is STELLA and she has already been enjoying love and treats from farm visitors.

Hard to believe these are newborn baby guinea pigs! They are born fully furred, eyes wide open and can be nibbling on a carrot within an hour! A donated former pet Guinea pig nmed S’MORES who we thought was a male is now a mother. Come meet the sweet new babies and help Farmer Mary come up with some good names! Flash back to 2011 (thanks Facebook for the blast from the past). We always had our family photo taken in the same spot at the NC State Fair each year by a passing stranger. The first year I had just adopted Elizabeth and Alex from Russia a few weeks prior so it was the beginning of a new family tradition. This was the last year we managed a group shot- by the next year several of my kids had jobs and they all continue to stay busy and productive. I am blessed to be their Mother year after year after year.
I love being a Mother.
Picture is two years old but a favorite of mine-quadruplet goat “kids” born to MOLLY at Winterpast Farm who were named after my own four.

Mothers were treated to half price admission today at Winterpast Farm petting zoo in honor of Mothers Day. Many families visited and enjoyed meeting our animals, walking baby goats on leashes, brushing fluffy bunnies, seeing the tiny baby turkeys, bottle feeding a lamb and baby goats…Farmer Mary also rented baby goats to three families and a baby lamb to another for the day.
