DAY 26 -Angora baby bunnies at Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC. This farm visitor had fun today learning how to hold four wiggly baby bunnies at the same time. The babies are starting to nibble on kale, apple slices, carrots, celery and more. Bring along a food snack for them and for their mom when you schedule a farm visit to Winterpast Farm.

The Lavender Guinea turning her eggs today. Her husband, the Pearl Guinea to her left, sets on the eggs with her and they talk alot to each other. Probably wondering aloud how many boys and how many girls or what colors their babies will be. Tucked under an unused trailer, the Lavender guinea laid her eggs and began setting way before Farmer Mary ever found her. Now she gets extra food brought to her (note the cheerio snack today). Stay tuned for news of the babies which are called “keets”.
