Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC is open for visits tomorrow from 10-5 and Sunday from 12-5. Read “your visit” to learn how to schedule a visit. Check back if the expected rain comes. Farmer Mary will have tarps over the bunny cages and most of the large animals will head to the barn if it rains. You can still visit, but younger animals can’t be held on rainy days since getting wet isn’t good for them.
Hopefully the rain will hold off til evening.

A great friend of the farm painted these signs which will go up later today on Ghoston Rod in front of Winterpast Farm. Farmer Mary hopes they will keep farm visitors from turning down her neighbors PRIVATE road located just behind the Winterpast Farm barn at the entrance.
Please respect private roads and don’t turn there just because your GPS tells you to! The farm entrance is very well marked with a huge sign and a huge 6 foot tall plywood llama at the entrance to the parking
lot.
When you tell friends about Winterpast Farm please tell them to look for the llama then to park at a pig!

THOMAS is the Blue Slate Turkey at Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest. He turns blue around his eyes whenever he is near TURKEY LURKEY who is a Narragansett breed female.
THOMAS loves to eat kale, grapes, soft apple slices and cereal from farm visitors hands. In the spring he does a silly love dance but it seems to be working for him.
