Farmer Mary is growing new celery from old celery. She cuts the bottom off celery that farm visitors bring and puts it in water. So far most have grown some leafy stalks in the middle. The bunnies and guinea pig and chicks all love the leafy part best!

Throw back Thursday photo from a year ago when little dogs MAX and BARNEY had just moved to Winterpast Farm at ages 7 and nearly 16. Happily snuggled up together in Farmer Mary’s bed in their forever home.
A year later they will soon be wearing their red coats once again when the temperature drops a bit further. They have spent a very happy year helping to meet and greet visitors at Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC.
Come meet the little dogs and all the other former pets now living at Winterpast Farm including a mini horse, teacup pigs who grew and grew and grew, peacocks, ducks and chickens and sheep and goats and emu and mini donkeys and more.

MAX the little dog is always popular with farm visitors at Winterpast Farm Petting zoo in Wake Forest NC.
About a year ago Farmer Mary found MAX in the middle of the road and eventually found the owners. The next day the owners brought him back to Winterpast Farm and asked Farmer Mary if she would like to keep him. Her daughter, Elizabeth, had fallen in love with the little dog so she now belongs to her. MAX likes to help meet and greet farm visitors and adores laps.
