ALL the animals LOVE pumpkin so keep Winterpast Farm petting zoo in mind! When you cut your pumpkin you can drop off the glop. After Halloween you can bring your cut pumpkin if it isn’t moldy.
If you have extra uncut decorating pumpkins bring them and you can toss them to the animals. Pumpkin is popular with the chickens, ducks, pigs, goats, bunnies, guinea pigs,sheep, donkeys, and our pony.
If you see a pumpkin stand that has unsold pumpkins after Halloween please stop and ask if Farmer Mary can pick them up. Thank You for supporting a small local farm family.

Did you know you can rent a goat for a day from Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC? Some people rent because they think they want to own a goat. Some for a birthday present. One mom rented a goat on April Fools to surprise her children who had been begging for a pet-they meant a dog! Our goats have been to rustic weddings, posed in senior photo shoots, attended farm themed birthday parties, slept over at a little girls slumber party and more.

Who thinks our sweet new mini pig is having a nice new life at Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC? He does not like carrots, but likes apple slices alot. He will lay down for you to rub his tummy and is usually wagging his tail happily all day long following visitors all around the farm. Or napping under the benches where our visitors sit to hold bunnies and guinea pigs.
