DUCKS IN LOVE AT WINTERPAST

The Khaki Campbell male, far left, lost his wife a few months ago and now hangs out with Ms. Mallard (stripey one) who someone hatched and donated to Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC. She has been debating migrating lately but she loves mothering a group of five young male Call ducks. Call ducks were originally used by hunters as decoys to lure wild ducks. Now there’s an Iphone app for that. Time will tell if Ms. Mallard migrates or if true love keeps here at Winterpast Farm.
