Baby lamb BENJAMIN was started on a leash today at Winterpast Farm petting zoo in Wake Forest NC. Pretty soon he and the other lambs will be available for farm visitors to walk around the farm on a leash.

Did you know you can rent a guinea pig for a week from Winterpast Farm? This helps avoid you buying one that will end up here eventually when you get tired of caring for it. Most of our visitors bring food to feed the animals at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Farmer Mary usually has $5 mixed buckets (yellow buckets shown here contain a couple of carrots, celery, some kale, an apple, whole wheat crackers, some cereal and a small orange) for sale and some single items for a dollar. Most visitors bring food from home and some stop at the grocery store on the way. The big favorite is kale or romaine lettuce then apple slices and grapes and carrots. ALBERTA the sheep was inspecting the eggs for sale today at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. $5/dozen helps Farmer Mary continue to feed and care for all the former pets (including chickens) who now live at Winterpast Farm.
