VALENTINE the baby lamb is still on a bottle but she has started to nibble celery and carrots and other food from farm visitors hands. Just be sure to hold it securely so she doesn’t take the whole thing since she is just a baby!
Leafy celery, kale, collards, parsley, grapes, carrots, sliced apples, oatmeal and cheerios are all very popular animal foods that you can bring to feed the animals at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC.

The two week old baby bunnies are a bit wiggly so today Farmer Mary had farm visitors hold them in buckets. Some visitors enjoyed the chick and baby bunny combo bucket at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC.

If you need to park on the road in front of the farm find a wide and level spot (plenty) and have ALL FOUR TIRES OFF THE ROAD or Farmer Mary will get a visit from the sheriff and you may get a ticket.

After paying you can reach over and flip the gate latch away from you and push the gate open. Please CLOSE the gate securely after you enter!
Then, please take your animal food (detailed list is found at “your visit” at www.winterpast.org. Short list is:kale, carrots,sliced apples, cheerios, romaine,grapes) to the table with blue buckets and transfer your animal food into the buckets. There is an apple cutter and knives there. Please put all your trash in the trash can and recycle cardboard and hard plastic in the blue recycle bins.
Then look for Farmer Mary. She has on overalls and now has peacock colored striped hair which is pretty hard to miss!
