High schoolers at St. David’s School in Raleigh enjoyed a visit by Winterpast Farm’s mobile petting zoo today. Farmer Mary’s daughter, Elizabeth, was running the mobile zoo as part of Field Day at St. David’s School.
VINNIE the hedgehog, OREO and PUMPKIN the guinea pigs, some chicks and ducklings, THOMAS the baby goat and the three Angora brothers, WAFFLE, PANCAKE and PUMPKIN PIE, all enjoyed being held, fed and photographed at the annual end of year event.
Farmer Mary is happy to provide a variety of her sweet farm animals to your away events including schools, preschools, camps, VBS, churches, corporate and neighborhood events. Just ask! (Texting is always best) You can read more at www.winterpast.org.

One of our male peacocks has been hanging out in the parking lot of Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Sometimes he has his tail feathers up to greet our visitors!

This sweet 7 year old hen named HENNY PENNY moved to Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo today. All her friends had died and her owner hopes she will be happy amongst the other chickens here at Winterpast Farm. Farmer May put her in a pen with TURKEY LURKEY the female turkey who is setting on eggs. That way HENNYPENNY can slowly adjust to her new home and eventually she will get out and find some new friends to enjoy during her retirement.
