Visitors today met a really cool Hickory Horned Devil caterpillar at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Lots of brave visitors of all ages chose to hold this very unusual and huge caterpillar. It will eventually turn into a Regal Moth which has a wing spread of six inches. It is the biggest moth North of Mexico.

Farmer Mary was just outside adding water to her pond and found a waterlily bud. This one should bloom within the next few days. This is only the second water lily bloom of the year so Farmer Mary is very happy!
