DAISY the polka dotted pig (a former pet “mini-pig” who grew and grew and grew as all pigs do) enjoyed some leftover rice a friend of the farm dropped off at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Please keep us in mind for any leftovers, stale food, pet food your pet doesn’t like, out of date cans… Farmer Mary has alot of mouths to feed here at Winterpast Farm.
WInterpast Farm also have an AMAZON Wish List if you are in the gifting mood. Timothy hay is at the top of the list-did you know pigs eat hay? So do our goats, sheep, donkeys, bunnies and guinea pigs!

This is one of the two Dad goats this year at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. The other was a bit bigger, all brown with blue eyes. His job was done here and he has moved to a farm in Bunn where he has lots of lovely lady goats awaiting his loving attention. Farmer Mary is keeping this little one for Live Nativities and to possibly marry sweet CAITLINN this Spring. It will be very interesting to see what color all the baby goats are this Spring!
Visitors today had the chance to meet a new little dog who has moved to Winterpast Farm to possibly fill the void left when Farmer Mary’s little man BARNEY the ancient Dachshund died lately. Stay tuned for pics of the new girl.
