The triplets have moved to the pasture with the other goats but they often sneak into the front Zoo area to mingle with farm visitors. This is the boy getting some love from Farmer Mary. Farmer Mary always appreciates when happy farm visitors share a few photos from their visit to Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. These three great children were wonderful Guinea pig and bunny and baby chick snugglers today. Farmer Mary really appreciates a parent who keeps close while their children are handling the animals at Winterpast Farm.
The rain held off all day and it is just now beginning to sprinkle here. Farmer Mary hopes to have the farm open for visits from 10-5 tomorrow but check back if raining. Rain usually closes the farm.

Hard to believe this is one of the baby bunnies! It looks exactly like Dad HENRY just smaller! Of the four babies only one has lopped (flopping downwards) ears like the mom. Genetics is an amazing thing to watch up close at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC.
Farmer Mary was blessed with a variety of volunteers today and a wide variety of farm visitors including close neighbors, people from out of state just vacationing in the are, people camping on Falls Lake and others from nearby towns. Most enjoyed snuggling bunnies and guinea pigs and baby chicks. Some had the chance to meet sweet ELEANOR the new rescue kitten. She goes back to the vet tomorrow for hopefully some good news about saving her eyeball.
Farm is closed tomorrow while Farmer Mary goes to the vet and the feed store and catches up on some farm chores.
