Farmer Mary had a great time providing animals today for a fun family event at the Alexander Y in Raleigh.
All ages enjoyed meeting and petting bunnies DUSTY & RUSTY and bunny sisters ICLOUD & INDIE and guinea pigs PUMPKIN & SIMBA and THELMA & LOUISE.
Baby goat STAR got lots of hugs and pets and a few young chicks enjoyed their first event away from Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC.
The rain changed the plan from an outdoor event to indoors but Farmer Mary had plenty of tarps and blankets.
The rain finally ended just in time for Farmer Mary to rush back to the farm to unload animals and get straight to setting up for a back pasture bonfire celebrating twin 14th birthdays for a brother and sister. You can read more about hosting a bonfire at Winterpast Farm at www.winterpast.org.
