Best looking gate greeter is Mr. Peacock at Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC! He has grown his tail feathers out about half way after his annual molt. Farmer Mary still has some of his beautiful long tail feathers for sale. By early spring he will have his long feathers again to impress the ladies with. What a guy!

Farmer Mary took her baby boy goat to Baileywick Elementary School this afternoon for their annual “Kiss The Mystery Animal” event which rewarded students for a very successful fundraising project. Four faculty members enjoyed bottle feeding and snuggling the baby goat.
Farmer Mary will be back at Baileywick on May 4 with more animals at their annual Spring event.
