Farm visitors often assume that the apples and carrots they bring to feed the animals is all the food the animals need at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Not so! Farmer Mary is heading home soon from Tractor Supply Co. with this big load of feed for the animals! Her Mini Cooper must think it’s a pickup truck!
Farmer Mary buys loads of feed regularly and she buys huge round bales of hay several times a year. Did you know pigs eat hay? So do sheep, goats and the mini donkey.
