Farmer Mary is just back from a trip to buy feed @tractorsupply in Youngsville. She can only buy what her Mini Cooper will carry so she will be back to buy more in a few days.
Farm visitors often think the apples 🍏🍎and carrots 🥕 they bring along on farm visits is the food the animals eat at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Not so! Farmer Mary spends about $600 a month on feed and that doesn’t include big round bales of hay or seasonal supplies.
If you love animals and would like to help Farmer Mary continue to care for and feed all the animals there is an AMAZON Wishlist for Winterpast Farm. There is also a Donations Pages at www.winterpast.org. Feed of any brand for any animal at Winterpast Farm is always a great gift! That includes chickens, bunnies, guinea pigs, pigs, donkey, sheep, goats, and ducks.
You may enjoy visiting Tractor Supply this time of year to see the cute baby chicks they have for sale. Then you could pick up a bag of chick or chicken or bunny feed and drop it off at Winterpast Farm or bring it along on your next visit!
