Farmer Mary and her teen volunteer are enjoying sharing some of the animals from Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo with presidents and staff at Waltonwood Lake Boone, an assisted living facility in Raleigh.
These two day old chicks 
were the biggest hit with one of the four being a tiny Bantam but the exact same age as the three much larger chicks. DAISY and BABY the lop eared sister bunnies, QUACKERS the very loud duck, guinea pigs OREO and COOKIES&CREAM and COFFEE the velvety soft Rex breed bunny all got alot of love and attention and feeding.

Elementary school aged children on their Fall Break from school enjoyed a fun Farm Field Trip this morning at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC.
All enjoyed feeding baby chicks, bunnies, goats and guinea pigs. Petting goslings, meeting a baby pig, throwing balls for the dogs, snuggling DONNA the baby goat, learning how to feed an emu were all fun but climbing Farmer Mary’s new rope to try to ring the bell 
at the top was the biggest hit!
