Farmer Mary and some of her animals spent a great Halloween evening at Celebration Church on Capital Boulevard. DONNA the goat 🐐was her usual big hit as were guinea pigs COOKIES&CREAM and OREO who sat in a lot of laps. HELEN KELLER the blind bunny got fed and brushed and BABY and DAISY the bunnies and PING the crested Pekin Duck enjoyed eating all night long!
Farmer Mary saw many Friends of the Farm and met a lot of new possible visitors and volunteers. The rain held off nicely til Farmer Mary got home and had all the animals back in their pens, cages and pastures.

FRANKLIN’S favorites are a slice of apple 🍏 🍎 or small 🥕. Tomatoes 🍅 too! Or a slice of fresh pumpkin! (You can donate any intact pumpkins 🎃 to help Farmer Mary feed the animals) 🐷Farmer Mary can show you how to make FRANKLIN “sit” for his treat. This slows down feeding and helps him not turn into an annoying demanding pig. 🐷PLEASE follow Farmer Mary’s directions and feed him a bite or two then pet him several times. This will help him stay social.
