FRANCES and her triplet babies are doing very well. FRANCES would love some extra food treats. She has to make alot of milk to feed three babies! With Farmer Mary’s arm in a sling she has trouble getting to the grocery store these days.

Pigs are very social animals and visitors sometimes see this black pig outside the fences at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. She belongs to neighbors who live down the private road behind Farmer Mary’s old tobacco barn. She gets lonely sometimes and walks up the road to hang out with Farmer Mary’s pigs for the day. This morning FRANKLIN pig was near her exchanging some pig news.
With one arm in a sling Farmer Mary is way behind on setting up all the maternity pens. If you have a few hours to volunteer she could really use the help! Any posted open time and an hour before. Volunteers now might be present at a birth and will have baby naming opportunities along with endless baby goat snuggling!
The farm will be open today for visits (unless rain) from 10-5. Farmer Mary will post updates. If raining she will be working on maternity pens so serious volunteers are welcome to come help.
