🐖Farmer Marys neighbors who live down the private road behind the old tobacco barn have this sweet pet pig who often wanders up their road to lay outside the fence. She loves to chat with Farmer Mary’s three pigs and each one of them are often seen laying inside the fence near her exchanging neighborhood gossip.🐖❤️🙂🐖❤️🙂❤️🐖🙂❤️🐖🙂❤️🐖🙂❤️🐖🙂
🌲🌳The seemingly endless rains have brought back the deep shade at Winterpast Farm. You can easily stay in the shade while visiting. The bunnies and guinea pigs are happy to be in hutches underneath the huge old pecan and oak trees. When it it gets really warm Farmer Mary will add a frozen water bottle to each hutch daily which some of the small animals really enjoy draping over or laying beside. Each evening Farmer Mary takes the water bottles back inside to freeze for the next day. Farmer Mary could always use donations particularly of the larger Gatorade sports drink empty bottles for larger animals. Cheap water bottles are easily nibbled by bunnies and flood the cage. Gatorade seems to be a stronger plastic. Farmer Mary clears out most of her freezer for the water bottle air conditioning project each summer.
