This Frizzle rooster is a cutie! He is a Bantam which means a small sized breed and his follicles are curved like humans with naturally curly hair so his feathers grow out curved. He was a house pet until moving to Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo where he now has ten acres to explore and lots of lady chickens to meet.🐓

Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo is THE safest place these days for a fun farm field trip for public and private schools, preschools and camps. Farmer Mary will close the farm to any other visitors so that your group is socially distanced. Masks are up to you for your group visit. This morning a group particularly enjoyed meeting the lambs and pigs out in the old tobacco barn where it is always cool.🐖🐑🐖🐑

North Raleigh UMC Preschool enjoyed a visit by the Mobile Petting Zoo from Winterpast Farm this morning.
👩🌾The Farmers Daughter took along 🐐BILLY the baby goat, 🦆DUCKY the duckling, 🐇CHARLES and CAROLINE the lop eared bunnies, COFFEE and MOCHA the Rex breed bunnies and guinea pigs PUMPKIN PIE, SNICKERS, OREO and TONI and MORRISON. 🐥🐥Some week-old baby chicks also attended.
