One of the mature India Blue male peacocks has already shed all his long feathers (natural annual molt) but one is still pretty magnificent at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Farmer Mary has the long beautiful feathers for sale. Paid farm admission not required for purchase. $5 helps Farmer Mary continue to care for and to feed all the peacocks and other birds living at Winterpast Farm.🦚🦚🦚
🌨It looks like rain will close the farm for visits on Thursday. Send up a prayer that the hurricane winds don’t come this way! Farmer Mary has moved some small animals into her garage and has extra tarps on hutches and pens.🤞

🌼🌼The back pasture is a “Field of Gold” these days at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Come take some truly unique family photos there before Farmer Mary mows it down. She doesn’t want the Bitterweed, which the animals don’t like to eat, to reseed and shade out the grass.🌼🌼

🇺🇸Farm visitors of all ages wore red, white and blue for 4th of July visits to Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. 🌼Many took photographs in the “Field of Gold” yellow blooming back pasture which is especially lovely this time of year. Several new bunnies enjoyed getting used to loving laps and the turtles 🐢and koi in the pond were a huge hit. When visitors tell Farmer Mary their favorite animal CLAIRE the donkey always leads the list. Today sweet GINGERBREAD the baby goat🐐 was a close second. Come visit and see who YOUR favorite animal is!
