Farmer Mary was blessed with six big loads of fresh mulch donated yesterday by Superior Landscaping & Lawn Care (919-422-8957) to help cover the grounds of Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC.
If you want some outdoor exercise or have teens who need Community Service or Volunteer hours please come help spread the mulch!

Farmer Mary was reading this post today by this Writer and Disability Advocate she follows on Instagram and she realized that while Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC is quite accessible to wheelchairs, people using walkers, all types of strollers and people with special needs and non English speakers the topic had not been directly addressed on the website so people have to ask before coming. Stay tuned for many more specifics and a whole page on the website.
Meanwhile all are welcome at Winterpast Farm. Please request any special assistance or accommodation including hours to visit the farm with just your group, closer parking, Farmer Mary’s translator app, the hose and scrub brush at the barn next to the parking lot to wash off any poop on wheels etc.

Farmer Mary was blessed today by a delivery of unsold pumpkins she will use over the next few months to help feed the animals at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. We NEVER have too many pumpkins and Farmer Mary will be sharing this bounty with other local farms and a nearby tortoise sanctuary. 🐢
