🐢Yesterday farm visitors spied this large Yellow Belly Slider turtle enjoying the sunshine basking on a log in the pond Farmer Mary upcycled out of an old inground pool at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC.
🐢Most of the fish and turtles are resting and out of sight during this season. Come visit again in the spring and summer when the pond is alive with lots of hummingbirds, dragonflies and the fish and turtles come quickly to the surface for food.
👍Pond life is just one of the many seasonal things you can learn about at Winterpast Farm.
