Volunteering is always fun at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC! Searching for emu eggs, smashing pumpkins, helping make a coffee bean bag pathway out to the barn to keep the animals out of the mud, then hand feeding donated pies 🥧 to the donkey, goats 🐐 and pigs 🐖 was a great way to spend some time together with friends outdoors!

From volunteering, dropping off empty egg cartons and excess food, donating pumpkins and Christmas trees, hosting animals, sharing Farmer Mary’s Facebook posts, spending some time here spreading mulch, buying fleece blankets for cold nights, spreading the word to friends about our little small farm family animal rescue…it all helps alot.
