🐢On sunny days in winter you may spy some of the turtles basking in the sun out at the pond at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Farmer Mary has upcycled her old inground pool into a home for many former pet fish, turtles and ducks.
☀️In summer the hummingbirds, frogs and dragonflies all enjoy living near the pond. A Mallard family had ducklings in April and they are still living here. 🦆No need to migrate with a safe home and plenty of food ‼️
