The skies kept changing from black to blue all afternoon while Farmer Mary had her Mobile Petting Zoo in Apex at a neighborhood Fall Festival. SUGAR the lamb, HARRY STYLES, BAKED POTATO, DOLLY&LOLLY the guinea pigs, COCOPUFF the Lionhead bunny, CHARLES & CAROLINE the big lop ear bunnies and the pair of quacking ducks were a huge hit with all ages who enjoyed meeting, petting and feeding.
The animals are all back at Winterpast Farm now and probably telling their animal friends all about their outing. They hope to see YOU soon at the farm! OPEN SUNDAY 12-5.

Someone who is moving away soon found their neighborhood duck hatching eggs on a coiled hose under their deck. Not wanting to saddle the new home owners with a possible unwanted pets, they brought the mama Muscovy duck and her ducklings to Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo where Farmer Mary has set up a large secure pen for the family.
