Farmer Mary’s all white male peacock has molted his long tail feathers and he can fly much more easily now. In the evening the peacocks usually hanging out by the entrance of Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC.
The peacocks will eat out of your hands. Bring along romaine lettuce or kale, plain Cheerios, whole corn, dry oatmeal and grapes to feed the peacocks next time you schedule a farm visit to Winterpast Farm.
