Emu eggs glow like jade in their nest on a rainy day at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. A limited number of the fresh eggs are for sale ($25). Sales help Farmer Mary continue to care for and to feed all of the animals living at Winterpast Farm.

đ§During rain the large animals head out of sight in the barn and all the bunny cages are covered up with tarps. Farmer Mary canât magically keep seating dry and it isnât healthy for the bunnies to get wet. Maybe we will have baby goats born today!
