Farmer Mary really appreciates the “Friends of the Farm” and volunteers who have helped her out at Winterpast Farm for the past few days while her arm is in a sling. One who came yesterday was a good friend from 6th grade who read about her accident on FaceBook!
Just taking hay to all the animals in the barn is almost impossible without both arms. Volunteers have a lot of fun interacting with all the very appreciative animals too.
Farmer Mary could use some help getting feed picked up at Tractor Supply, getting more goat maternity pens set up, with daily feeding and watering, with throwing wood in the whole house woodstove the next few cold days… text her if you have an hour or more to offer to help her continue to care for and to feed all the animals at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC.
